Hauru no Ugoku Shiro

Diana Wynne Jones (roman), Hayao Miyazaki (film)

Hayao Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle adapts Diana Wynne Jones' novel, retaining the whimsical spirit and characters while significantly altering the plot. The film's visual splendor and thematic exploration of war, prejudice, and self-worth differ notably from the book's more straightforward narrative.
